Originally published in the 1951, Challenge to the World: The Story of Fatima. Script by Francis McGrade, Illustrated by Addison Burbank.

This is the challenge of Fatima: will the world make reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary or will it receive the just punishment for all the offenses to God and the mother of Christ? Both the message of Fatima and its challenge have been known to certain people since 1917, but only in recent years have they been given the world-wide recognition which they demand. No one needs to be told that the world is sick at the present time; but everyone has his own idea about what the real ailment is. Jesus Christ sent His own mother to tell the world at Fatima not only what was wrong, but also to prescribe the cure! On the other hand, Mary also described the course the illness would take if men did not immediately use the cure, and it’s not a pleasant one. Eventually, man will apply the remedy she gave him, but will he wait until he goes down into the shadows of death or will he use it now before his condition becomes desperate?
