Exploring Creation with Biology, 2nd Edition is designed to be the student’s first high school science course. We recommend that your student take this course while taking or after completing algebra 1. This college-prep textbook provides a detailed introduction to the methods and concepts of general biology while reinforcing the scientific method. Topics include a detailed study of the five-kingdom classification scheme, microscopy, biochemistry, cellular biology, molecular and Mendelian genetics, evolution, dissections, and ecosystems. In this course, your student will participate in three types of labs: experimental labs, microscopy labs, and dissection labs. Please note that in order to receive full credit for this course, students must participate in at least two of the three lab types. All labs are designed for a homeschool setting.
