Just a little update as we wrap up the semester here. We at SJS are working hard to complete as many of our new books as possible for the next school year! Currently, projects include: St. Jerome School Spellers, Art-Literature Reader 1 with Color!, Catholic Art Appreciation, Story Art Appreciation, St. Jerome Grammar Text books, St. Jerome School Readers, and many more! Of course, this will mean some changes in our lesson plan books as well. If you preferred the old books, shop our clearance to stock up on them before they are gone! So many exciting events! We also hope for an invitation to the IHM Conference in the Chicago area this June. We will keep you posted. Thanks so much for your prayers and patronage! God bless!
At the request of our customers, we have created the new website store! We are pulling most of our inventory from our ebay store to put it into the online store to hopefully make the process of purchasing and renting our materials much easier. We are so very excited and appreciate the feedback we have been given so much! Those who have seen the website have given us very positive feedback. Thank you! Thank You, God, for helping us grow! May we always do Your Will! Please forgive us for any "growing pains" that might occur. :)
We at St. Jerome School are incredibly excited to announce a new member to our staff, Mary Eldracher. Mother of Fr. Philip Eldracher and Sister Mary Peter, Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas, as well as five other children, she brings in almost 20 years of teaching experience and a Bachelors degree in Education. She will be co-writing our St. Jerome School Lesson Plans for high school, as well as helping in many other ways. Please continue to keep us all in your prayers! God bless!
Thank you so much to those generous individuals and families that have donated books to our library for homeschoolers! May God bless and reward your charity! A Blessed Advent, everyone!
All our donors had their board books shipped out last week. The board books will be available for purchase on August 16th, St. Joachim and St. Roch's feast day. All the proceeds from these sales will be going directly to help Fr. Nkamuke's incredible missionary work and seminary in Nigeria. Fr. Lehtoranta did an incredible job on these beauties and there is nothing else like this out there. We have limited quantities so be sure to order yours as soon as you can starting Aug. 16. We will announce the listing here and on Facebook when it is live. We are so excited about these chunky, lovely books! Praised be Jesus & Mary!
We just got word today that the board books are in the states! We should be getting them late this week! If all goes according to plan, those who donated towards our goal should have their books shipped out next week sometime! If you are looking to order, look for the release date August 16th. God bless!
Fr. Lehtoranta's new board book, Mass Externals for Children is currently on an ocean liner voyage to us! More news in August for release date!
Many thanks to all those who helped us pull off the Sidewalk Sale! (especially to those heavy lifters!) Thanks to those who stopped by and shopped, as well as our lovely little "refreshments" team who did very well! God bless!
We're so excited for our Sidewalk Sale tomorrow on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! (It landed on this day by pure coincidence.) In congruence with the Citywide Rummage Sale, we figured we would pull out our inventory for locals to shop. Hope to see you there if you can make it! Friday & Saturday (June 8 & 9) from 9am to 4pm both days, weather permitting. God bless!
